Who is right or wrong? Lagosians accuse PHCN of bleeding them to death with undeserving billing, while the power holders deny the accusations. The trio of Ganiyu Salman, Foluke Oloruntoba and Ayomide Owonibi, bring the cases of the contending parties.
As the largest economy in the country, both government and private business concerns always target Lagos for quantum revenue generation which appeared to be the guiding principle behind the decision of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), in making sure that all its customers in the state are billed as when due. But the business drive of the agency is now driving Lagosians crazy with allegations of over-billing, allegedly aimed at meeting revenue targets, flying all over the nooks of the state.
