The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on Wednesday arrested Omololu Gabriel of the Power Holding Company Nigeria (PHCN) for allegedly demanding N100,000 bribe.
Gabriel, a Principal Manager with the PHCN Distribution Company, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja, was arrested by the operatives of the commission following a petition filed against him by a petitioner.
A statement signed by the Head of Media, ICPC, Mr Folu Olamiti, said the petitioner had formally applied for purchase and installation of two transformers and filed his application to the principal manager’s office.
According to the statement, the accused demanded for N100,000 when he received the application.
