NERC inaugurated the Ibadan Customers’ Forum on Thursday.
The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, has solicited the cooperation of consumers for the protection of electricity equipment across the country.
Chairman of the commission, Sam Amadi, made the plea in Ibadan on Thursday while inaugurating the Ibadan Customers’ Forum Office at Magara Police Station, Iyaganku GRA.
The NERC chief, who was represented on the occasion by the Commissioner, Government and Consumers Affairs Division, NERC, Abba Ibrahim, said the forum was put up as a redress mechanism for settling disputes between the PHCN and its consumers
“You need a lot of investment in the power sector to be able to sustain it. The reason why government has not been able to sustain it is because it has been unable to provide the required input to make things run.
