A constitutional lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), has urged the federal government to slash the current electricity tariffs by 50 per cent until substantial improvement was recorded in supply.
In a statement issued at the weekend, Falana called for the decentralisation of generation and distribution of electricity to allow states and local governments to play dominant roles in the ongoing reforms in the power sector.
